Gala

A Free Bird’s annual gala is our largest fundraising event of the year. Each year, we gather in glitz and glamour to showcase incredible talents and raise money to expand our mission of helping children and ensuring each child has the best possible opportunity to pursue their dream. At the gala, guests enjoy performances from incredible talent and artists, AFB honorees are recognized and a select number of children showcase their artistic learnings. Past gala performances include singer Kim Viera, opera singer Kirsten Scott, performers from America’s Got Talent including Str8jacket and Calysta Bevier, and Broadway performers from The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera, Frozen, Les Miserables, Cats and more. In 2019, the AFB Gala featured a vegan dinner prepared by chef Stephen Yen of Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill.
