Making Dreamcatchers at Maimonides hospital!

Posted on April 11, 2019

Today we invited a featured artist Lynn Filanda to make dreamcatchers with kids! Dreamcatchers are typically used as form protection for sleeping children to catch bad dreams and allow good dreams to come. One child joined us and Lynn taught us how to wrap the dreamcatchers with string and add beads, feathers, and pom poms. We made a few of them and gave them out to the children who couldn't leave their room. It was a very fun and inspirational day for everybody!
